Ohmygod...we are sooo sooo sooo very sorry to hear about Kai's passing...He was such a handsome loveable boy...His gentleness just came through on all of his photos & posts...even though we never met him, we will miss him terribly & our hearts are so very heavy for you & your family..

I'm so so sorry to hear this - us big dogs always seem to be living on borrowed time but 8 was a good age for a Dane! - sometimes other people tell my human that this is a reason not to have a Dane but my human thinks that we're so special, she'd rather have a shorter time with us then a longer time with a different doggie...

Tell him to look up Lucy when he gets where he's going; she's the pretty blue Dane with the white seven on her chest, and she got to keep her ears too. She was a great jumper, leaper, and gallumpher; she'll teach him how to use his new hind legs.

He was so sweet and beautiful. I know that words can't help right now, our hearts are breaking for you and your family.
