Oh Shannon, what a beautiful tribute to a special boy. Far too early in the morning for so many tears :(

Thank you for sharing - I don't know how you managed to put this together, I can't even watch Charlie's video's yet.

Sending you hugs.

Love

Oh, momma's eyes are leaking, but she said she is happy sad because that was just so beautiful and he was a grand guy. We only knew Kai as a senior statesman so it was wonderful to see his baby and goofy teenager pictures.

... so many tears ...

That was just so beautiful.

LOVE love love the pix with Lucy and Kai. They sure were buds and she must miss him so.

All of the songs that you picked were perfect. That last one rings very true, but it is so hard not to shed a tear.

Kai was lucky to have had you and your family to make his life so very special.

I bet this was a wonderful trip down memory lane looking at all of his pictures. I can't even imagine how many tears you shed while making this.

Thank you for sharing Kai with us. It is clear what a sweet boy he was.

BIG big hugs to you!

Staci

Oh what a beautiful slideshow. He looks like he lived a long full life, full of love! Darwin looks so much like Kai did when he was a puppy.

Ditto on what Mango said. Such a wonderful and so handsome boy. Thanks for sharing, it was lovely tribute full of tears smiles and even a few chuckles! He was very patient about wearing things on his head ;-)

hi, we may not know Kai, but it still brought tears as we watch him grow from an adorable puppy to the handsome boy and how he shared love to any dog any child any one.

he's lived a wonderful, full life.

BARK! Mommys eyes are leaking again. She knows how you feels too. She went back and looked at all of Maxs pitures, so she could get all the leaking out of her eyes. I am so glad Kai was there to show my brother Max around. BARK! Sasha the Princess

Hello, Shannon

We were thinking about you, since we hadn't visited in a long time.

We watched your beautiful tribute to Kai and the love in every image made our mom dissolve. We can only imagine what knowing that beautiful boy since was a puppy must have meant to you and your beautiful family -- human and canine.

Even if you don't blog anymore, know that your Danes and Dachsunds (and Basset) have a big place in our hearts.

Wirey love,

Jake and JUst Harry (and Joan)
